umi Toddler/Little Kid Action Sneaker

Only shoes we wear!5

I have a little guy (now 4 years old) who has very sensitive feet. We literally tried on about 40 pairs of shoes before trying these on. Every pair had something that bothered him. Once we put this pair on he was so excited and told me these were his new shoes. He wears them until he out grows them. I have never had a problem with them wearing out. We have two pairs of shoes - one blue and one brown - and rotate between the two. We are now on our 3rd or 4th size I can't remember. I sure hope they never stop making these. We will be without shoes! Way to go Umi!!! Love these shoes!More detail ...

umi Infant/Toddler Sail Crib Shoe

Love these High Quality Subtle Leather Shoes5

Just came back for my second pair of these shoes! Bought some for his first shoes. He started wearing at ten months old now coming back for second pair at 14 months old. These are made with high quality subtle leather. They are flexible well stitched and have worn well to many steps and crawling! Love the round rubber grippies on the bottom! Especially how one wraps around toe box. Both pairs I got on sale for around $20! So worth the investment! I was so impressed with UMI I ordered a pair of their sandels for my four year old! Just received both these and the other pair for my older child today and I LOVE both! Much much nicer than Robeez! Would not go back to Robeez after having this quality especially for the money!More detail ...

umi Infant Pearl Pre-Walker

Wonderful prewalker shoes5

I try to buy the Umi brand shoes whenever they are seriously discounted (which is often on amazon). These are great little shoes. They are well made cute have incredibly flexible soles that still provide excellent traction (for both crawling and walking) and they stay on. There isn't much more you can ask of an infant/toddler shoe. They do tend to run a bit wide compared to many other brands but this works well for our daughter and it should work well for most babies in cooler weather when you put them in thicker socks.

We've been passing along the ones our daughter grows out of to two other little girls and they've held up through all three babies incredibly well. Periodically I find a loose thread but it doesn't seem to damage the integrity or appearance of the shoes and I just cut them off. We generally buy the all leather styles but we did purchase the black velvet shoes and they are designed so that the velvet doesn't show wear. All of the places that tend to rub are leather. The lighter colors of leather do tend to scuff and show dirt but you can clean them fairly easily if it bothers you.

We've purchased other shoe brands for our daughter but so far they just haven't compared in quality and functionality (even if they are cute).More detail ...
